Job Title: Technical Support Intern

Description

  • We are seeking a motivated and technically inclined Technical Support Intern to support our electric bike operations.
  • The successful candidate will assist in diagnosing technical issues, performing basic maintenance, supporting repair activities, and ensuring the efficient operation of electric bikes and related components.
  • This role provides an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the electric mobility industry.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in troubleshooting and diagnosing faults in electric bikes, including batteries, motors, controllers, and electrical systems.
  • Support routine maintenance, servicing, and repair of electric bikes.
  • Assist in conducting inspections to ensure bikes meet operational and safety standards.
  • Help monitor battery performance and charging systems.
  • Support the installation, testing, and replacement of electrical and mechanical components.
  • Maintain accurate records of repairs, maintenance activities, and technical findings.
  • Assist customers and internal teams with basic technical inquiries and product support.
  • Support inventory tracking of spare parts, batteries, tools, and workshop equipment.
  • Ensure all maintenance and repair activities comply with company safety procedures and quality standards.
  • Work closely with senior technicians to resolve technical issues and improve service efficiency.

Requirements

  • OND, HND, or Bachelor's Degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, Automobile Technology, or a related technical field.
  • 0–1 year of experience (Industrial Training, Internship, or NYSC experience is an added advantage).
  • Basic knowledge of electrical systems, batteries, motors, and mechanical components.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to learn quickly and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications is an added advantage.
