Job Title: Civil Engineer

Locations: Lagos and Shagamu - Ogun
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Summary

• We are seeking a skilled and motivated Civil Engineer with a minimum of 3 years' professional experience to join our team as a site-resident engineer.
• The successful candidate for site supervision and overseeing civil engineering works, ensuring compliance with approved drawings, specifications. and standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Review construction drawings to ensure compliance with British Code specifications
• Supervise day-to-day site activities and coordinate construction works
• Prepare and submit daily, weekly, and monthly progress report 
• Monitor and witness tests carried out on site to ensure quality control and quality assurance
• Ensure projects are delivered on time and within scope
• Conduct regular site inspections to ensure compliance with design specifications. codes, and safety standards
• Coordinate effectively with architects, contractors. consultants. and other stakeholders

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering
• Minimum of 3 years' relevant experience in civil engineering projects
• Proficiency in AutoCAD
• Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and applicable regulations
• Excellent problem-solving, reporting, and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team Desirable Skills (Advantageous)
• Proven experience in site supervision
• Working knowledge of engineering and project management software such as Prota, Orion, MS Project, and Microsoft Office tools (Excel. Word, PowerPoint).
