Job Summary
- We are seeking a passionate and skilled Mathematics Teacher in our primary school to deliver high-quality instruction and inspire students to develop strong numeracy, logical reasoning, and problem-solving skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging, well-structured mathematics lessons in line with the approved curriculum
- Develop students’ numeracy, analytical, and problem-solving abilities
- Assess, record, and report on student progress using appropriate assessment methods
- Differentiate instruction to meet diverse learning needs
- Maintain a positive, inclusive, and well-managed classroom environment
- Prepare lesson notes, schemes of work, and teaching resources
- Participate in school meetings, trainings, and extracurricular activities
- Communicate effectively with parents and colleagues on student progress
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Education, or a related field
- Relevant teaching qualification (PGDE/NCE is an advantage)
- Experience teaching Mathematics in a reputable school, preferably Secondary.
- Strong classroom management and communication skills
- Passion for teaching and commitment to student success
