Job Title: Internal Control & Audit Executive - Operations & Supply Chain Focus

Location: Ikorodu, Lagos (with regular travel to manufacturing sites and warehouses)

Role Summary

• We are looking for an operations-focused auditor to strengthen control and efficiency across our manufacturing and supply chain operations.
• The role conducts independent audits across production, procurement, warehousing, and logistics to drive cost control, reduce losses, and ensure SOP compliance.
• This is a hands-on, field-facing role for someone who is as comfortable on the factory floor and in the warehouse as in the audit report.

Key Responsibilities

• Map operational processes end-to-end (production, procurement, warehousing, logistics) and identify control gaps, inefficiencies, and cost-leakage points.
• Audit production performance — yield, wastage, scrap, downtime, and maintenance practices — against standards and SOPs.
• Review vendor selection and procurement decisions for pricing integrity, fair process, and value for money.
• Conduct physical inventory audits, reconcile stock records, and perform shrinkage and loss analysis with root-cause findings.
• Document findings clearly, agree corrective actions with process owners, and track remediation to closure.
• Recommend practical control and process improvements that hold up operationally, not just on paper.

Key Performance Indicators

• Timely completion of assigned operational audits.
• Measurable reduction in wastage and inventory shrinkage following audit interventions.
• Closure rate on agreed corrective actions.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
• 3 - 5 years' operational audit experience within a manufacturing environment.
• Strong process-mapping skills and a working grasp of production, procurement, and inventory controls.
• Analytical, evidence-led, and confident engaging operations and supply chain teams.
