We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: School Driver

Location: Agege, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Responsibilities

• Safely transport students to and from school, field trips, and other approved school activities.
• Follow designated routes and schedules while ensuring timely pick-up and drop-off of students.
• Conduct daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the school bus to ensure roadworthiness and safety compliance.
• Ensure students are seated safely and adhere to bus safety rules throughout the journey.
• Maintain discipline and order on the bus, reporting any behavioral concerns to school management.
• Keep accurate records of routes, mileage, fuel usage, maintenance issues, and incident reports.
• Report accidents, vehicle faults, delays, or safety concerns promptly to the appropriate school authority.
• Ensure the bus is clean, presentable, and properly maintained at all times.
• Comply with all traffic laws, road safety regulations, and school transportation policies.
• Assist younger students during boarding and disembarking where necessary to ensure their safety.
• Coordinate with parents, guardians, and school administrators regarding transportation-related matters when required.
• Attend training sessions, safety briefings, and meetings as directed by the school.
• Ensure emergency equipment on the bus is functional and readily available.
• Maintain confidentiality and professionalism while representing the school.
