Our hairs are carefully sourced and selected from various donors in China,Vietnam,Laos, Cambodia, Philippines, India,Burma,Argentina

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Social Media Content Creator 

Location: Lekki Phase 1, Lagos

About the Role

• The ideal candidate must possess exceptional video production and editing skills, understand luxury brand storytelling, have a strong eye for aesthetics, and be able to conceptualize, script, create, edit, and publish engaging content across multiple social media platforms.
• This role is for someone who lives and breathes content creation, understands social media trends, and knows how to turn products, customer experiences, and brand stories into highly engaging content that drives visibility, engagement, and sales.

Key Responsibilities
Content Strategy & Planning:

• Develop creative content ideas aligned with the brand's marketing objectives.
• Create and maintain monthly content calendars.
• Research and identify emerging social media trends, sounds, formats, and opportunities.
• Generate fresh and innovative content concepts that elevate brand positioning.
• Ensure all content aligns with ONYX's luxury brand identity and voice.

Content Creation & Production:

• Conceptualize, script, shoot, and edit high-quality video content.

Produce luxury-standard content for:

• Instagram
• TikTok
• Facebook
• YouTube
• WhatsApp Business
• Emerging social platforms

Create engaging:

• Product showcases
• Customer testimonials
• Hair transformation videos
• Behind-the-scenes content
• Educational content
• Lifestyle and luxury storytelling content
• Brand campaigns
• Promotional videos
• Capture high-quality photos and videos of products, clients, and team activities.

Video Editing & Post-Production:

• Edit videos to premium luxury standards.
• Create compelling short-form and long-form video content.
• Add motion graphics, transitions, captions, effects, and sound design where appropriate.
• Optimize content for platform-specific performance.
• Ensure consistency in branding, aesthetics, and storytelling.

Script Writing & Storytelling:

• Write engaging content scripts, hooks, captions, and content briefs.
• Develop storytelling-driven content that connects emotionally with the audience.
• Create content that educates, inspires, entertains, and converts.

Social Media Management Support:

• Work closely with the Social Media Manager and Marketing Team.
• Recommend content strategies based on performance insights.
• Monitor content performance and suggest improvements.
• Stay updated on social media algorithm changes and platform best practices.

Brand Representation:

• Ensure all content reflects the premium positioning of the ONYX brand.
• Maintain exceptional visual standards in all published content.
• Contribute innovative ideas that strengthen brand awareness and customer engagement.

Required Skills and Competencies
Technical Skills:

• Advanced video shooting and editing skills.

Strong proficiency in:

• CapCut
• Adobe Premiere Pro
• Adobe After Effects
• Canva Pro
• Photoshop (Added Advantage)
• Strong understanding of lighting, composition, framing, and visual storytelling.
• Ability to create content optimized for different social media platforms.

Creative Skills:

• Exceptional creativity and originality.
• Strong storytelling ability.
• Ability to identify trends early and adapt them to luxury branding.
• Excellent script-writing skills.
• Strong visual aesthetic and attention to detail.

Salary
N180,000 - N200,000 per month.
