Job Title: Knowledge Management and Communications Specialist

Responsibilities and Duties
  • International Resources Group (IRG), an Engility company, is currently seeking for a Knowledge Management and Communications Specialist for an anticipated USAID-funded water and sanitation activity in Nigeria.
IRG is seeking technical experts with current knowledge of the water sector in Nigeria and expertise in one or more of the following areas:
  • Water/sanitation utility establishment, management, privatization, and/or reform
  • Water/sanitation service delivery and reform, including both provision and regulation
  • Reform of state water entities and institutions (financial management, governance, human resources and related areas)
  • Private sector engagement and participation within the water/sanitation sector
  • Water sector financing, including tariff structures and reform, operation and maintenance financing, cost recovery, capital improvements and system expansion, and related areas
  • Rural water service provision
  • Fecal sludge management
  • Business model development for sustainable urban sanitation.
Minimum Tangible Qualifications
  • Advanced Degree in relevant Technical area preferred.
  • A minimum of five years of experience designing and leading implementation of interventions.
  • USAID project experience preferred.
Preferred Qualification:
  • Nigeria experience preferred.
