Job Title: ICT Teacher

Description

• As an ICT Teacher you are responsible for developing students' digital literacy and technical skills.
• You will design curriculum, instruct on hardware and software, guide students through basic programming, and maintain school computer systems.
• You will prepare learners for the digital demands of modern education and careers.

Key Responsibilities

• Instruction & Curriculum: Develop and teach ICT lessons ranging from basic computer skills (like Microsoft Office) to foundational programming (like Python or Scratch) and cyber safety.
• Student Assessment: Design assignments, practical lab exercises, and exams to measure student progress, providing constructive feedback.
• Classroom Management: Ensure a positive, safe, and organized lab environment.
• Equipment Maintenance: Manage the ICT laboratory. This includes ensuring computers, projectors, and peripherals are in working order and overseeing basic hardware troubleshooting or software updates.
• Communication: Update parents on their child’s digital skills development during parent-teacher conferences.
