We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Farm Manager (6 weeks Broiler Operations)

Location: Oosa - Ikire, Osun
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Summary

• The Farm Manager will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and supervising all broiler production activities.
• The successful candidate will ensure optimal bird performance, efficient use of resources, proper staff management, and adherence to biosecurity standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage daily broiler farm operations.
• Supervise farm staff and allocate duties effectively.
• Monitor bird health, growth performance, feed consumption, and mortality rates.
• Ensure strict compliance with biosecurity and farm safety protocols.
• Coordinate vaccination, medication, and disease prevention programs.
• Maintain accurate production, inventory, and financial records.
• Monitor feed, drugs, vaccines, and other farm inputs.
• Ensure proper housing, ventilation, watering, and feeding systems.
• Prepare weekly and monthly farm performance reports.
• Implement strategies to improve productivity and profitability.
• Liaise with management on operational planning and decision-making.

Requirements

• HND or B.Sc. in Agriculture, Animal Science, Animal Production, Veterinary Technology, or related fields.
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience managing poultry operations, preferably broilers.
• Knowledge of poultry health management and biosecurity practices.
• Strong leadership and staff management skills.
• Good record-keeping and reporting abilities.
• Ability to work independently and solve operational challenges.
• Basic computer knowledge is an added advantage.
• Willingness to live in the farm.
