Job Description

  • To support the implementation of a sustainable business risk management and quality assurance capability across Stanbic IBTC Insurance Limited by executing and monitoring a risk-based combined assurance plan and related activities to enable a culture of quality, control and transparent risk ownership.
  • To evaluate internal operations and activities of the business in order to identify, assess, measure and mitigate risks arising from internal processes, people and systems of the different departments with; and external events that could impact and expose Stanbic IBTC Insurance Limited to potential risks.

Qualifications

  • First degree in any related discipline
  • Professional Accounting or Risk Management certification will be an added advantage
  • Understanding of Cybersecurity fundamentals and IT Infrastructure will be an added advantage.
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in Risk Management, operations or any assurance function with proof of strong data analytics skill is an additional requirement
