Job Title: Radiographer

Location: Nsukka, Enugu

Job Summary

• We are seeking a skilled and experienced Radiographer to join our diagnostic team in Nsukka, Enugu State.
• The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing a wide range of diagnostic imaging procedures while ensuring high-quality patient care, image accuracy, and compliance with professional and regulatory standards.
• Candidates must possess hands-on experience in advanced imaging modalities, including CT Scan, MRI, Mammography, Ultrasound, CT Colonography, and related diagnostic procedures.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic imaging procedures including CT Scan, MRI, Mammography, Ultrasound, CT Colonography, X-ray, and other radiological examinations.
• Ensure high-quality image acquisition and accurate patient positioning for all imaging procedures.
• Prepare patients for examinations by explaining procedures and ensuring patient comfort and safety.
• Operate and maintain radiology equipment in accordance with manufacturer and safety guidelines.
• Review images for quality and completeness before submission to reporting physicians.
• Adhere to radiation protection and safety standards at all times.
• Maintain accurate patient records, imaging reports, and examination documentation.
• Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to support accurate diagnosis and treatment planning.
• Identify and escalate equipment malfunctions or operational issues promptly.
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies, healthcare regulations, and professional ethics.
• Participate in quality assurance and continuous improvement initiatives within the diagnostic unit.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent qualification in Radiography or Medical Imaging.
• Must be registered with the Radiographers Registration Board of Nigeria (RRBN) and possess a valid practicing license.
• Minimum of 3 years' post-qualification experience in a diagnostic imaging environment.

Salary
N300,000 - N350,000 monthly.
