Job Title: Farm Maintenance Technician

Location: Abeokuta, Ogun

Job Summary

• We are seeking a skilled and hands-on Farm Maintenance Technician to join our maintenance team.
• The ideal candidate will have experience in general maintenance, plumbing, electrical and mechanical repairs, pressure washing, and facility upkeep.
• Experience working in a farm, factory, or industrial environment is highly desirable.
• The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that farm facilities, equipment, and infrastructure remain in excellent working condition to support smooth daily operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out routine maintenance and repairs across the farm
• Perform plumbing repairs and installations, including water lines, tanks, and fittings
• Maintain and repair poultry pens, buildings, fences, and farm structures
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical faults, wiring, switches, sockets, and lighting systems
• Perform basic mechanical repairs on farm equipment and machinery
• Operate pressure washing equipment to maintain hygiene standards across the farm
• Conduct preventive maintenance to reduce equipment downtime
• Identify maintenance issues and recommend corrective actions
• Ensure tools and maintenance equipment are properly maintained
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergencies
• Maintain a safe working environment and follow all safety procedures

Requirements

• Minimum of OND, Trade Test, Technical Certificate, or equivalent qualification
• Minimum of 3 years experience in maintenance, facility management, farm operations, or factory maintenance
• Practical knowledge of plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems
• Experience using pressure washing equipment
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve maintenance issues independently
• Experience working in a farm, factory, manufacturing, or industrial environment
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Physically fit and capable of performing hands-on maintenance work
• Reliable, proactive, and able to work with minimal supervision
