We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Micro Credit Loan Officer

Location: Abuja
Employment Type: Full-time

Key Responsibilities

• Source, evaluate, and onboard potential clients for microcredit loans.
• Conduct credit appraisals and risk assessments of clients’ businesses and repayment capacity.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of all loan applications, approvals, and disbursements.
• Monitor loan utilization and follow up on repayments to ensure portfolio quality.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships to enhance customer satisfaction and retention.
• Collaborate with the credit and recovery teams to manage delinquent accounts.
• Prepare periodic reports on loan performance, client feedback, and portfolio trends.
• Promote the bank’s financial products and services to existing and potential clients.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Educational Background: Minimum of OND / HND / B.Sc Degree in Finance, Banking, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Experience: Minimum of 1-3 years of proven experience in microcredit, loan processing, or related roles (preferably in a Microfinance Bank or financial institution).
• Strong understanding of micro-lending principles, credit analysis, and risk management.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Good knowledge of local markets and communities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Integrity, attention to detail, and ability to work under minimal supervision.
