We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Human Resources Manager

Location: Lekki Phase 1, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time
Department: Human Resources
Reports To: Managing Director / Chief Operating Officer

About the Role

  • We are seeking a mature, emotionally intelligent HR professional to oversee and manage all aspects of the Human Resources function.
  • The HR Manager will be responsible for building a positive workplace culture, ensuring HR policies and compliance, and supporting business growth through effective people management.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement HR policies, procedures, and systems aligned with company goals.
  • Oversee full-cycle recruitment, onboarding, and employee retention strategies.
  • Manage employee relations, conflict resolution, and disciplinary processes with emotional intelligence.
  • Administer payroll, benefits, leave management, and statutory remittances in line with Nigerian Labour Law.
  • Drive performance management, training, and career development programs.
  • Ensure compliance with all labour laws, PENCOM, NSITF, ITF, and other regulatory requirements.
  • Maintain confidential employee records and HR documentation.
  • Provide HR reports and insights to MD/COO to support strategic decision-making.

Required Qualifications & Experience

  • Education:
    • Bachelor’s Degree in HR, Psychology, Business Administration, or related field.
    • Minimum of 2nd Class Lower / Upper Credit HND.
  • Experience: Minimum 2 years in a similar HR role with hands-on experience.
  • Certification: CIPM certification is an added advantage.
  • Age: 30 years and above.
  • Gender: Male / Female – all qualified candidates encouraged to apply.

Required Skills & Competencies:

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • High emotional intelligence and maturity in handling sensitive issues.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Leadership and team management skills.
  • Execution excellence and strong attention to detail.
  • Knowledge of Nigerian Labour Act and HR best practices.

Preferred Background:

  • Real Estate industry experience is an advantage.

Remuneration

  • Salary: N400,000 Net monthly - take-home after PAYE, employee pension, and NHF deductions.
  • Other Benefits: HMO, Pension, Bonuses, and other statutory benefits.
