Job Summary
- We are seeking a proactive, organized, and results-driven Logistics Coordinator to oversee and coordinate daily fleet and logistics operations.
- The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the efficient deployment of vehicles, riders, and drivers, while maintaining high standards of operational efficiency, safety, compliance, and customer satisfaction.
- The ideal candidate should possess strong logistics coordination skills, excellent knowledge of Lagos road networks, and the ability to manage multiple operational activities in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, coordinate, and supervise daily fleet and logistics operations to ensure seamless service delivery.
- Assign vehicles, riders, and drivers for timely and efficient pick-up and delivery of goods.
- Monitor vehicle movement and track deliveries to ensure operational efficiency.
- Identify and resolve logistics challenges, delays, and operational issues promptly.
- Ensure all vehicles are properly maintained, roadworthy, and compliant with regulatory requirements.
- Manage vehicle documentation, licensing, insurance, and other statutory requirements.
- Maintain accurate records of fleet activities, fuel consumption, maintenance schedules, and operational reports.
- Monitor fleet performance and implement measures to improve productivity and cost efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, road safety regulations, and operational procedures.
- Collaborate with internal teams and customers to ensure timely and satisfactory service delivery.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing logistics and fleet operations.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree or HND in Transportation Management, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
- Minimum of 2 years' experience in fleet management, logistics coordination, or transportation operations role.
- Valid driver's license with the ability to drive confidently.
- Strong knowledge of Lagos road networks, traffic patterns, and route planning.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and logistics management tools.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong leadership and problem-solving abilities.
- High level of integrity, accountability, and attention to detail.
