Job Brief
- We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Business Development/Marketing Officer experienced in oil & gas inspection services with proven track record getting CAT 5/DS-1-5, and NDT jobs for IOCs, NOCs, and EPCs in Nigeria to join our team in promoting and expanding our oil and gas inspection services.
- The ideal candidate will identify new business opportunities, generate leads, secure contracts, and maintain relationships with clients and drive growth in the Nigerian oil and gas, energy, marine, construction, and industrial sectors for inspection, testing, calibration, and technical services.
Key Responsibilities
Business Development:
- Develop and implement business development strategies to increase revenue.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities in upstream, midstream, and downstream oil and gas sectors.
- Market the company’s services including:
- Drill Pipe Inspection
- Casing and Tubing Inspection
- Bottom Hole Assembly (BHA) Inspection
- Non-Destructive Testing (NDT)
- Calibration Services
- Lifting Equipment Inspection
- Coating Inspection
- Thermal and cold Insulation
- Reformer tube inspection
- Generate leads through networking, industry contacts, and market research.
- Prepare and submit technical and commercial proposals.
- Manage CRM, update forecast, and send BRM to management every Friday.
Client Relationship Management:
- Maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective clients.
- Conduct client visits and presentations.
- Respond to client inquiries and service requests promptly.
- Follow up on quotations and contract negotiations.
Tender and Contract Management:
- Monitor tender opportunities from oil and gas operators and service companies.
- Coordinate tender preparation and submission.
- Maintain prequalification status with clients and regulatory bodies.
- Assist in contract negotiations and service agreements.
Marketing Activities:
- Promote company services through digital marketing, social media, and industry events.
- Organize product and service presentations.
- Represent the company at exhibitions, conferences, and industry meetings.
Professional Qualifications
Essential:
- Degree in Engineering / Business / Marketing or related fields
- Experience: 3-6 years of experience in business development or marketing in the oil and gas industry
- Strong understanding of the Nigerian oil and gas sector
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in inspection services or NDT (Non-Destructive Testing), Drill pipe inspection,
- IADC DS-1 awareness a plus,
