Responsibilities
- Design and deliver engaging lessons in History, Government, and Current Affairs.
- Develop lesson plans aligned with curriculum standards.
- Foster critical thinking, debate, and civic engagement through interactive teaching methods.
- Assess student performance and adapt instruction to support diverse learning needs.
- Encourage inquiry-based learning and active classroom participation.
- Monitor student progress and provide feedback to parents and school leadership.
- Participate in professional development activities and school initiatives.
- Maintain positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.
- Carry out other duties as assigned by school management.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Education or a related field
- Valid Teaching Certification (TRCN certification is required)
- Teaching apprenticeship experience is an added advantage
- Previous tutoring or classroom teaching experience preferred
- Knowledge of digital learning tools and modern teaching methodologies
- Ability to effectively use interactive/smart boards
- Strong 21st-century teaching skills, including digital literacy, collaboration, and critical thinking
- Excellent communication, creativity, patience, and multitasking abilities.
