Job Title: Loan Underwriter / Credit Risk Analyst

Job Summary
- The Loan Underwriter will be responsible for reviewing and analyzing SME loan applications to deliver accurate credit decisions in line with established credit policies and underwriting standards.
- The ideal candidate must possess strong analytical skills and prior experience in loan assessment and risk evaluation.
Key Responsibilities
- Review and analyze loan applications and supporting documents
- Assess borrowers’ creditworthiness and repayment capacity
- Make recommendations in line with credit policy and underwriting standards
- Liaise with Field Verification Officers and Risk Team on loan-related issues
- Ensure accuracy and completeness of loan documentation
- Maintain proper records and support process improvement initiatives
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years experience in loan underwriting, credit analysis, or related role
- Prior experience performing similar functions is required
- Experience in the banking or financial services industry is an added advantage
- Excellent communication, documentation and reporting skills
- Great knowledge of risk control and a good sense of industry research.
Salary & Benefits
N200,000 Monthly + N100,000 performance bonus.
