Job Summary
- We are seeking a polished, articulate, and highly organized Front Desk Officer to serve as the face and voice of our company.
- The ideal candidate will manage our reception area, welcome visitors, handle incoming communications, and provide essential administrative support to our executive, human resources, and operations teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Visitor Management: Welcome, register, and direct guests, clients, and corporate partners to the appropriate departments with a warm and professional demeanor.
- Call & Email Routing: Manage the central switchboard; answer, screen, and forward incoming telephone calls and distribute general emails efficiently.
- Mail & Logistics: Receive, sort, and log all incoming courier packages, letters, and supplier documents; coordinate outgoing corporate mail and deliveries.
- Front Office Appearance: Maintain a clean, organized, and presentable reception area and lobby environment at all times.
- Administrative Support: Assist Human Resources and Operations with basic clerical tasks, including data entry, document scanning, filing, and meeting room scheduling.
- Access Control Coordination: Collaborate with the security and HSE teams to ensure all visitors sign in, receive visitor badges, and follow basic factory site safety entry protocols.
Requirements & Qualifications
- National Diploma (ND), Higher National Diploma (HND), or Bachelor’s degree in Secretariat Studies, Business Administration, Mass Communication, or a related field.
- Minimum of 1–3 years of proven experience as a Front Desk Officer, Receptionist, or Customer Service Representative, preferably in a corporate environment.
- Exceptional verbal and written English communication skills with a clear, professional telephone etiquette.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and comfortable learning basic office management software.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, a neat and professional appearance, strong multitasking capabilities, and a high level of confidentiality.
