Job Title: Electrical / Solar Engineer

Location: Ibadan, Oyo

Summary

• We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Solar / Electrical Engineer to join our team.
• The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, installing, testing, commissioning, and maintaining solar photovoltaic (PV) systems and electrical installations.
• The role requires technical expertise, problem-solving abilities, and a commitment to delivering high-quality renewable energy and electrical solutions that meet industry standards and client requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop solar PV and electrical systems for residential, commercial, and industrial projects.
• Conduct site surveys, load assessments, and feasibility studies.
• Prepare technical drawings, system layouts, and project documentation.
• Supervise the installation, testing, and commissioning of solar and electrical systems.
• Perform routine inspections, troubleshooting, and maintenance of installed systems.
• Ensure compliance with electrical codes, safety regulations, and industry standards.
• Prepare technical documentation and project reports.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree or HND qualification in Electrical Engineering, Renewable Energy Engineering, or a related field.
• 1–2 years of relevant experience in solar PV and electrical system design and installation, troubleshooting, maintenance, site assessment, etc
• Strong knowledge of solar energy systems, inverters, batteries, and electrical distribution systems.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, or other relevant engineering software is an advantage.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and schematics.
• Ability to prepare technical reports & supervise field activities is needed.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
