Job Title: IT Asset Officer

Location: Lagos

Description

  • We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized IT SAsset Officer to join our team in Lagos.
  • The successful candidate will be responsible for managing IT asset records, coordinating IT asset issuance and tracking, maintaining inventory accuracy, and ensuring compliance with established asset management procedures.

Key Responsibilities

  • Organize, monitor, and maintain an accurate IT asset register.
  • Ensure supplier deliveries comply with contractual requirements regarding quantity, quality, and pricing.
  • Implement and adhere to IT asset management policies and procedures for all received and issued assets.
  • Update IT asset management systems and records promptly and accurately.
  • Ensure proper filing, documentation, and stamping of relevant records.
  • Track and follow up on missing assets to ensure accountability and proper reconciliation.
  • Ensure all asset-related service tickets are resolved within agreed Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
  • Prepare and submit weekly reports on asset issuance and related service tickets.
  • Maintain inventory accuracy through proper storage, bin allocation, labeling, and warehouse organization.
  • Support periodic asset verification and inventory audits.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Sciences, Social Sciences, or a related discipline.
  • 5 - 8 years of experience in asset management, warehouse operations, inventory management, customer service, or a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of inventory control and asset tracking processes.
  • Excellent organizational, record-keeping, and reporting skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work with minimal supervision.
  • Good communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Knowledge of ITIL principles will be an added advantage.
