Job Title: Website Developer & Manager

Location: Lekki Phase 1, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

About the Role

• We are seeking a skilled Website Developer & Manager to build, maintain, and optimize our digital platforms, ensuring seamless performance across all GMYT websites.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, update, and manage all GMYT websites including e-commerce, corporate, and landing pages
• Ensure websites are responsive, fast, secure, and SEO-optimized
• Manage CMS platforms such as WordPress, Shopify, and custom-built sites
• Implement updates, plugins, security patches, and backups regularly
• Troubleshoot technical issues and ensure 99%+ uptime
• Collaborate with Marketing, ICT, and Branding teams to deploy new features and campaigns
• Monitor analytics, site performance, and user experience to drive continuous improvement
• Maintain domain, hosting, and SSL certificate renewals

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years’ experience in web development and management
• Proven experience as a Website Developer / Manager with portfolio of live sites
• Strong proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP, and at least one modern framework
• Hands-on experience with WordPress, Shopify, and other CMS platforms
• Knowledge of SEO best practices, Google Analytics, and performance optimization tools
• Familiarity with web hosting, cPanel, Git, and basic server management
• Problem-solving mindset, attention to detail, and ability to meet deadlines
