We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Field Operation Agent

Locations: Abuja, Lagos and Rivers 
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Summary

  • As we are expanding, we are looking for Field Operators to work alongside our Business Support team on the ground: visiting estates, engaging decision-makers, supporting onboarding, and ensuring our deployed locations are running effectively.

The Role

  • This is a field-first, people-facing role. You will be the face of Access Gate in your city - identifying opportunities, starting conversations, supporting client onboarding, and conducting audits at active locations.
  • You will work with significant independence and will be expected to take initiative, manage your own schedule, and deliver results without constant supervision.

What You Will Do

  • Identify and visit target estates in your assigned territory.
  • Engage gate officers, facilities managers, and estate decision-makers.
  • Support the sales process from first contact through to onboarding.
  • Conduct field audits at estates where AccessGate is already deployed.
  • Report field activity, observations, and opportunities back to the BSO and operations team.
  • Always represent UTN professionally in the field.

What We Are Looking For

  • Deep knowledge of Lagos or Abuja or Port Harcourt: You know the estates, the neighborhoods, and how things work on the ground.
  • Street-smart and socially intelligent: You can read a room, adjust your approach, and build trust quickly with different kinds of people.
  • Fluent in English and at least one Nigerian language: Yoruba, Igbo, or Hausa - so no conversation is a barrier.
  • A self-starter who works on their own initiative: You don't wait to be told; you identify what needs to happen and you make it happen.
  • Trustworthy and discreet: You will be interacting with estate residents, security personnel, and management on behalf of UTN.
  • Previous experience in field sales, community engagement, logistics, or customer-facing roles is an advantage.
  • Comfortable using a smartphone for reporting, communication, and basic documentation.
