A major property and real estate group, with substantial properties in major cities of Nigeria and remarkable portfolio across other West African countries seeks to strengthen its management and operations. It therefore wishes to engage highly competent, talented, self-motivated and experienced individuals in Senior Positions, open to both expatriates and Nigerians, to fill the position below:

Job Title: Managing Director

Responsibilities

• Lead the accomplishment of financial objectives, including rent collection, payment of bills, forecasting requirements, preparing annual budgets, scheduling expenditures, analyzing variances, and initiating corrective actions.
• Give strategic direction on the concept, development, management, and commercialization of properties.
• Responsible for compliance with regulatory requirements, occupancy policies, and service management.
• Benchmark and advise on rental rates by calculating overhead costs, depreciation, taxes, and profit goals.
• Advise management on strategic planning, competitors, market trends, and regulations.
• Responsible for the accomplishment of organizational goals and exploring additional management opportunities for company staff.
• Manage relationships with the Board of Directors.

Requirements
General Qualifications / Requirements:

• Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in Estate Management, Architecture, Civil Engineering, or other Engineering disciplines. An MBA will be an added advantage.
• Strong leadership and organizational skills, with the ability to multitask and proven project management capabilities.
• Professional Certification in Project Management.
• Good working knowledge of the entire real estate value chain (regulatory processes, marketing and sales, etc.).
• Excellent negotiation, organizational, and communication skills.

Experience:

• Minimum of twenty (20) years of experience in property development, real estate sales, facility management, and residential estate development at a leadership level.
• Ability to establish and maintain good relationships with clients and contractors from different backgrounds.
• Proven ability to successfully manage a diverse team of technical staff, facility officers, vendors, and contractors.
