Mater Dei Secondary School, DDL, Awkuzu is a focus driven Catholic Mission Secondary School under the management of the Daughters of Divine Love Congregation. One of our primary focus is the all-round development of the young school age girls irrespective of background, ethnicity, or faith. Mater Dei is the Latin word for ‘Mother of God’. Bearing this in mind, the school, which is rightly situated in Umudioka-Awkuzu, along Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu University road, has continued to minister, just like a mother, to the academic, spiritual, physical, moral, social, and every other need of the adorable young females entrusted into our care.
