Job Summary
- The Area Sales Manager (ASM) will be responsible for managing sales operations, driving revenue growth, and expanding market presence within the assigned territories.
- The role involves leading a team of sales representatives, developing strategic sales plans, maintaining strong relationships with distributors and key customers, and ensuring the achievement of sales targets across the designated regions.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Economics, or related field.
- 5–7 years of experience in sales, preferably in FMCG, telecommunications, or consumer goods.
- Proven experience in territory management and sales team supervision.
- Strong negotiation, communication, and leadership skills.
- Good knowledge of the assigned regional markets in Nigeria.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
- Ability to analyze sales data and market trends.
- Must be willing to travel frequently within the assigned territory.
