- Our client is hiring a Female Chef to prepare high-quality meals, maintain kitchen hygiene standards, and ensure efficient food service operations.
- The ideal candidate should be skilled in preparing a variety of local and continental dishes, possess excellent culinary expertise, and demonstrate professionalism in kitchen management.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook a variety of local and continental meals to high standards
- Plan menus and ensure meals are nutritious, appealing, and cost-effective
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the kitchen, equipment, and food storage areas
- Ensure proper food handling, storage, and safety procedures are followed at all times
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate the purchase of food supplies when necessary
- Manage meal schedules and ensure timely food preparation and service
- Minimize food wastage and maintain efficient kitchen operations
- Adhere to company policies and health and safety regulations
Key Requirements
- Minimum of OND / HND / Bachelor’s Degree in Hospitality Management, Catering, or any related field is an added advantage
- Proven experience as a Chef with a strong portfolio of local and continental dishes
- Minimum of 3 years relevant experience in a similar role
- Excellent knowledge of food preparation, presentation, and kitchen operations
- Strong understanding of food safety and hygiene standards
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
- Good communication and organizational skills
- Professional appearance and positive attitude
