Job Title: Sales and Logistics Officer

Summary

• We are seeking a highly organized and results-driven Sales and Logistics Officer to oversee the end-to-end process of acquiring clients and distributing products. In this dual-function role, you will be responsible for pitching products, securing sales, coordinating with the warehouse, and tracking shipments to ensure on-time delivery.
• The ideal candidate possesses excellent communication skills, problem-solving abilities, and a strong understanding of supply chain management.
• Sales and Logistics Officer acts as the vital bridge between a company's commercial goals and its supply chain operations. They are responsible for driving revenue, processing orders, managing inventory, and ensuring the timely delivery of products while providing excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities
Sales & Customer Relationship:

• Actively prospect for new B2B or B2C customers, pitch products, and close deals to meet or exceed monthly sales targets.
• Manage existing client accounts, address inquiries, and build long-term, profitable relationships.
• Process customer orders, validate Local Purchase Orders (LPOs), and ensure accuracy in pricing and quantities.

Logistics & Supply Chain:

• Coordinate the end-to-end transportation of goods, working closely with shipping companies, freight carriers, and warehouse teams.
• Track and monitor shipment progress to ensure that orders are dispatched and delivered to customers as scheduled.
• Optimize delivery routes and collaborate with carriers to minimize transport costs and maximize efficiency.
• Manage bills of lading, packing lists, proof of deliveries (PODs), and other necessary shipping documentation.

Inventory & Reporting:

• Monitor warehouse stock levels and coordinate with procurement to prevent product shortages.
• Analyze sales, logistics, and inventory data to create clear reports for sales and management leadership.
• Maintain accurate databases of executed orders, dispatch records, and customer feedback

Qualifications & Requirements

• Education: Bachelor’s Degree or HND in Business Administration, Sales, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field.
• Experience: Proven experience combining field or B2B sales with logistics and supply chain coordination.

Skills:

• Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience using logistics or inventory management software.
• Deep knowledge of local distribution laws, customs compliance, and transport regulations.
