We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Videographer / Social Media Manager

Location: Victoria Island, Lagos

Responsibilities

  • Plan, shoot, edit, and produce high-quality video content for client campaigns and internal needs.
  • Capture video coverage of events, press conferences, product launches, interviews, and corporate engagements.
  • Develop creative concepts, storyboards, and shot lists aligned with campaign objectives.
  • Edit raw footage into polished, engaging, and platform-appropriate content for digital, social media, websites, and presentations.
  • Create short-form and long-form video content optimized for various platforms.
  • Incorporate motion graphics, transitions, sound design, subtitles, and other visual enhancements where necessary.
  • Collaborate closely with the PR, content and creative/design teams to execute communications campaigns.
  • Manage video production timelines and ensure timely delivery of projects.
  • Maintain and organize video assets, archives, and production equipment.
  • Ensure all content aligns with client brand guidelines and campaign objectives.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging video formats, and best practices in content creation.
  • Provide creative input during campaign planning and content strategy sessions.
  • Travel to shoot locations within and outside Lagos when required.
  • Develop and implement social media strategies for client and agency accounts.
  • Collaborate with the creative/design and content teams to create, schedule, publish, and manage content across social media platforms.
  • Manage content calendars and ensure timely execution of approved content plans in conjunction with the creative/design and content teams.
  • Monitor social media channels, respond to comments and messages where required, and drive audience engagement.
  • Track, analyze, and report on social media performance metrics, providing actionable recommendations for improvement.
  • Monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging digital opportunities.
  • Collaborate with PR, content, and creative/design teams to deliver integrated communications campaigns.
  • Contribute creative ideas and recommendations to improve content performance, audience growth, and engagement.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent qualification in a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years' professional experience in videography, video editing and social media management.
  • Experience working in a PR agency, media agency, creative agency, or similar fast-paced environment is an added advantage.
  • Demonstrable experience in photography and visual content creation.
  • Proficiency in motion graphics, animation, and related creative tools.
  • Experience operating drone equipment and capturing aerial footages.
  • Proven experience creating content/videos for corporate brands and client-facing campaigns.
  • Strong proficiency in video editing software.
  • Strong understanding of lighting, composition, audio recording, and camera operations.
  • Experience creating social media and digital marketing campaigns.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret social media insights and campaign performance data.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent creative thinking, and visual communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work.
  • Excellent interpersonal, team playing and collaboration skills.
