BTHDC is an ultra-modern Diagnostic Center facility which provides Radiology and laboratory services at Lagos State University Teaching Hospital (LASUTH), Ikeja Lagos.

BTHDC is a Public Private Partnership (PPP) between PPC Limited and Lagos State Government. PPC Limited is affiliated to Philips Medical System (PMS), a global leader in providing clinical management and diagnostic technology, and have been successful in transferring latest technology to the healthcare industry in Nigeria.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Human Resource Assistant

Location: Ikeja, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Responsibilities

  • Manage employee leave requests and approvals in line with company policy.
  • Maintain accurate leave records and leave balances for all staff.
  • Provide periodic leave reports to management.
  • Support onboarding and induction processes.
  • Maintain and update employee records, files, and HR databases.
  • Ensure proper filing (physical and electronic) of all HR documents.
  • Support onboarding documentation for new hires.
  • Draft, format, and circulate internal memos, announcements, and notices.
  • Maintain a log/record of all issued memos for reference and compliance.
  • Ensure timely communication of HR-related updates to staff.
  • Manage employee leave requests and approvals in line with company policy.
  • Assist with job postings, CV screening, and interview scheduling.
  • Prepare interview materials and coordinate candidate communication.
  • Support onboarding and induction processes.
  • Serve as a first point of contact for basic HR inquiries.

Job Specification

  • Bachelor's Degree (B.Sc./HND) in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, Industrial Relations, Psychology, Social Sciences, or a related field.

Experience:

  • 1–2 years of experience in Human Resources, Administration, or a related role.
  • Experience in recruitment, employee records management, and HR administration is an added advantage.

Skills and competence:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Attention to detail and high level of accuracy.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
  • Strong interpersonal and relationship management skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook).
  • Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Good problem-solving and administrative skills.
