Job Title: Site Supervisor
Location: Port Harcourt, Rivers
Employment Type: Full-time
Job Summary
- We are seeking a competent and experienced Site Engineer to oversee construction activities, ensure projects are executed according to specifications, and maintain quality, safety, and project timelines.
- The ideal candidate should possess strong technical knowledge and excellent project coordination skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate daily site operations
- Ensure construction activities are carried out according to approved drawings and specifications
- Monitor project progress and prepare site reports
- Coordinate contractors, subcontractors, and site personnel
- Conduct site inspections and quality control checks
- Ensure compliance with HSE and regulatory standards
- Manage project materials and equipment on-site
- Identify and resolve technical issues promptly
- Attend site meetings and provide project updates.
Requirements
- B.Eng/B.Sc/HND in Civil Engineering, Construction Engineering, or a related field
- Proven experience as a Site Engineer or in a similar role
- Strong knowledge of construction methods and project management
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Microsoft Office, and other engineering software
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work under pressure and meet project deadlines.
