Job Title: Finance Officer

Location: Lekki Phase 1 (Admiralty way), Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Summary

• A Finance Officer is responsible for managing the financial health of an organization by overseeing budgeting, accounting, financial reporting, and compliance activities.
• The role ensures accurate financial records, supports decision-making, and helps maintain efficient financial operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain financial records, reports, and statements.
• Monitor company budgets and expenditures.
• Process invoices, payments, and payroll transactions.
• Reconcile bank statements and financial accounts.
• Assist in preparing annual budgets and financial forecasts.
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations and company policies.
• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable.
• Conduct financial analysis and provide recommendations to management.
• Support internal and external audits.
• Maintain accurate filing and documentation of financial transactions.
• Prepare tax returns and statutory financial reports where applicable.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related fields
• Proven experience in finance or accounting roles.
• Knowledge of accounting principles and financial regulations.
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
• Strong numerical and analytical skills.
• Attention to detail and high level of accuracy.
• Good communication and organizational skills.

Preferred Skills:

• Professional certification such as CPA, ACCA, or CMA.
• Experience with financial management systems.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.

Salary
N200,000 - N300,000 monthly.
