Job Title: Secondary School Business Studies Teacher
Location: Lekki, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver Business Studies lessons in line with the approved curriculum.
- Teach key business concepts, including entrepreneurship, office practice, commerce, bookkeeping, and business management.
- Develop lesson plans that foster critical thinking, innovation, and problem-solving skills.
- Assess students’ progress and provide constructive feedback.
- Prepare students for BECE, WAEC, NECO, and internal examinations where applicable.
- Use practical examples and real-world business scenarios to enhance learning.
- Maintain accurate records of student achievement and performance.
- Encourage students to develop entrepreneurial and leadership skills.
Requirements
- Degree in Business Education, Business Administration, Management, Economics, Education, or a related field.
- Relevant teaching certification may be required.
- Experience teaching Business Studies at the secondary school level is preferred.
- Strong communication, classroom management, and organizational skills.
- Ability to engage students through practical and interactive teaching methods.
- Familiarity with both the Nigerian and Cambridge curricula is an added advantage.
- Demonstrated 21st-century teaching skills.
- TRCN certification is an added advantage.
