Job Title: Facility Officer

Location: Ikeja, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Summary

• We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Facility Officer to oversee the maintenance, safety, and efficient operation of our facilities.
• The ideal candidate will ensure that all company properties and equipment are well-maintained and that the work environment remains safe, functional, and conducive for employees and visitors.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the day-to-day management and maintenance of company facilities.
• Coordinate repairs, maintenance activities, and renovations as required.
• Monitor facility systems, including electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and other building services.
• Manage relationships with vendors, contractors, and service providers.
• Conduct routine facility inspections and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
• Track facility-related expenses and assist with budget management.
• Ensure cleanliness and proper functioning of office spaces and common areas.
• Maintain records of maintenance schedules, service agreements, and facility assets.
• Respond promptly to facility-related issues and emergencies.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree or HND in Engineering, Facility Management, Estate Management, or a related field.
• 3–5 years' experience in facility management, maintenance, or a similar role.
• Strong knowledge of building systems, maintenance processes, and safety standards.
• Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and work effectively with minimal supervision.
