Job Summary

  • We are seeking a creative, proactive, and results-oriented Social Media / Community Manager to lead our brand's online presence and foster meaningful engagement with our audience.
  • The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and executing social media strategies, managing online communities, creating engaging content, and building strong relationships with customers and followers across various digital platforms.
  • The successful candidate should have a strong understanding of social media trends, community management, content planning, and audience engagement, with the ability to drive brand awareness and customer loyalty.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement social media strategies aligned with the company's marketing and business objectives.
  • Manage and grow the company's presence across social media platforms, including Instagram, Facebook, X (Twitter), LinkedIn, TikTok, YouTube, and other relevant channels.
  • Create, curate, and publish engaging content, including captions, graphics, videos, stories, and user-generated content.
  • Build, nurture, and manage online communities by responding to comments, messages, reviews, and customer inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
  • Monitor conversations about the brand and proactively manage the company's online reputation.
  • Develop and maintain a content calendar to ensure consistent and strategic content delivery.
  • Collaborate with the design, marketing, and product teams to create campaigns that increase engagement and drive conversions.
  • Track, analyze, and report on key performance metrics such as engagement, reach, follower growth, community sentiment, and campaign effectiveness.
  • Identify emerging social media trends, tools, and best practices and recommend innovative ideas to improve performance.
  • Plan and execute influencer collaborations, community activations, contests, giveaways, and engagement initiatives.
  • Monitor competitor activities and provide insights to support strategic decision-making.
  • Support crisis communication efforts and manage sensitive community interactions professionally.
  • Prepare periodic reports and recommendations to optimize social media performance.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree or HND qualification in Marketing, Communications, Mass Communication, Public Relations, Digital Marketing, or a related field.
  • 2–4 years of experience in social media management, community management, or digital marketing.
  • Proven experience managing multiple social media platforms for a brand or organization.
  • Strong copywriting, storytelling, and content creation skills.
  • Experience using social media management and scheduling tools.
  • Proficiency in social media analytics and reporting.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong customer service and relationship management abilities.
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Creative mindset with strong attention to detail.
