Job Summary

Key Responsibilties
- Plan and deliver Accounting lessons in line with the approved curriculum.
- Teach accounting principles, bookkeeping, financial statements, ledger preparation, and other core accounting concepts.
- Develop lesson plans that promote analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Assess students’ academic progress and provide constructive feedback.
- Prepare students for WAEC, NECO, and internal examinations.
- Utilize practical examples and case studies to enhance students’ understanding of accounting concepts.
- Maintain accurate records of student performance and achievement.
- Create an engaging learning environment that encourages academic excellence and financial literacy.
Requirements
- Degree in Accounting, Education, or a related field.
- Relevant teaching certification may be required.
- Experience teaching Accounting at the secondary school level is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
- Good classroom management, communication, and organizational skills.
- Familiarity with both the Nigerian and Cambridge curricula is an added advantage.
- Demonstrated 21st-century teaching skills.
- TRCN certification is an added advantage.
