Job Summary
- We are seeking a detail-oriented Account Clerk to support the accurate recording and management of financial, procurement, and inventory data.
- The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining financial records, updating ERP systems, and supporting basic accounting operations in line with organizational procedures.
- The role requires strong attention to detail, proficiency in Excel and Google Sheets, and working knowledge of SAP or similar ERP systems.
Key Responsibilities
Financial Data & Record Keeping:
- Accurately record and maintain financial transactions including invoices, receipts, and expenses
- Update and manage financial records using ERP systems and spreadsheets
- Ensure data accuracy, completeness, and proper documentation of all entries
Accounting Support:
- Assist in basic account reconciliations and ledger updates
- Support tracking of payments, receivables, and petty cash
- Maintain proper filing and organization of financial documents
Procurement & Inventory Support:
- Record procurement transactions and inventory movements in ERP systems (SAP or similar)
- Update stock records and assist in monitoring inventory levels
- Report discrepancies in stock and procurement records
- Support coordination between finance, procurement, and stores teams.
Requirements
Minimum Qualifications
- HND / BSc in Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, or related discipline
Experience
- Minimum of 2 years relevant experience in accounting, data entry, finance support, procurement, or inventory management
Applicant Location Requirements
- Applicants must reside within Amuwo Odofin, Mile 2, Ilasa, Ago Palace, Cele, or Apapa axis for ease of commute.
Required Skills & Competencies:
- Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy
- Good understanding of basic accounting principles and terminology
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets
- Working knowledge of SAP or any ERP system
- Understanding of procurement and inventory processes
- Strong organizational and data management skills
- Ability to handle confidential financial information responsibly.
