Job Title: Accountant

Location: LekkiLagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Summary

  • We are seeking a highly experienced and detail-oriented Accountant to join our growing based law firm located in Lekki Phase 1.
  • The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the company’s financial operations, ensuring compliance, and financial support to management.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage all accounting transactions, including inflow, petty cash payments/transactions and general book-keeping.
  • Prepare monthly budget forecasts. Prepare monthly and quarterly financial statements and analysis.
  • Reconcile payable and receivable accounts.
  • Manage balance sheets and profit/loss statements.
  • Provide reports on the Firm’s financial health and liquidity.
  • Audit financial transactions and documents.
  • Ensure that the Firm is in compliance with necessary financial policies and regulations.
  • Maintain an up-to-date library inventory. Including information about the cost of the resources in the library.
  • Keep and monitor inventory of office supplies and stationeries.
  • In charge of procurement of office supplies and stationeries.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3-4 years proven accounting experience, preferably within a corporate or project-based environment.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles, tax regulations, and financial reporting.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • High level of integrity, accuracy, and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Salary
N200,000 - N250,000 monthly.
