Job Description

• We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Accountant to join our finance team. This position is ideal for recent accounting graduates or NYSC members who are eager to kickstart their careers in accounting.
• The Junior Accountant will play a vital role in supporting our finance operations while gaining hands-on experience in the accounting field.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing financial statements and reports. 
• Maintain and update financial records, including ledgers and journals. 
• Support the accounts payable and receivable processes. 
• Reconcile bank statements and resolve discrepancies. 
• Participate in month-end and year-end closing processes. 
• Assist in preparing budgets and forecasts. 
• Help with tax preparation and compliance. 
• Collaborate with team members on various accounting projects. 
• Stay updated on relevant accounting standards and regulations.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting. 
• Completion of NYSC preferred. 
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices. 
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (experience with ERP systems is a plus). 
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. 
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. 
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team. 
• Good communication skills, both written and verbal.

Salary Range
N150,000 - N200,000 / Month.
