We are recruiting to fill position below:

Job Title: Procurement Officer

Location: Kwall, Plateau
Work Arrangement: Hybrid (Onsite and Remote)

Summary

  • The Procurement Officer is responsible for sourcing, purchasing, and coordinating the delivery of materials, equipment, and operational supplies required for efficient farm operations while ensuring cost-effectiveness, quality, and timely availability of resources

Description

  • This role manages supplier relationships, purchasing activities, procurement records, and inventory replenishment to support operational efficiency.

Responsibilities

  • Source and evaluate suppliers and vendors.
  • Obtain quotations and negotiate pricing.
  • Process purchase requests and purchase orders.
  • Coordinate delivery of materials and supplies.
  • Maintain supplier records and procurement documentation.
  • Track inventory requirements with operational teams.
  • Monitor procurement costs and budgets.
  • Ensure compliance with procurement procedures.
  • Build and maintain supplier relationships.
  • Identify opportunities for cost savings.

Education

  • Degree or HND in Procurement, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related fields.

Experience:

  • Minimum of 2 years experience in procurement or supply chain management.

Requirements:

  • Strong organizational skills.
  • High integrity and accountability. 
  • Computer proficiency. -
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadline.
