Job Title: Business Developer - Cross Border Payment
Location: Opebi, Ikeja - Lagos
About the Role
- The Business Development Executive will support the Business Development Manager in driving growth, acquiring new clients, and building strong business relationships.
- This role is ideal for someone who is proactive, analytical, and passionate about creating value in the fintech and cross-border payment industry.
Key Responsibilities
- Work closely with the BD Manager to identify and pursue new business opportunities and partnerships.
- Conduct market research to understand customer needs, competitor activities, and potential business prospects.
- Build and maintain relationships with existing clients, ensuring satisfaction, retention, and long-term collaboration.
- Assist in preparing presentations, proposals, and reports for client meetings and internal reviews.
- Support internal teams to ensure smooth onboarding of clients and successful delivery of services.
- Monitor sales performance and contribute to achieving monthly and quarterly revenue targets.
- Participate in field visits, client pitches, and product demonstrations when required.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Marketing, or a related field
- 1 - 3 years experience in business development, sales, or customer relationship management.
- A good understanding of the cross-border payment industry, financial technologies, and market trends.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Ability to conduct market research, analyze data, and provide meaningful insights
- Self-motivated, result-oriented, and able to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
