Job Title: Technical Sales Engineer
Location: Ikeja, GRA - Lagos

Responsibilties
Sales and Business Development:
- Identify and develop new business opportunities within the oil and gas sector.
- Achieve and exceed sales targets and contribute to the company's revenue growth.
Customer Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders in the oil and gas, and other sectors.
- Understand customer requirements and provide tailored solutions to meet their technical and business needs.
- Conduct regular meetings and follow-ups to ensure customer satisfaction and address any issues promptly.
Technical Support and Consultation:
- Provide technical assistance and product education to customers.
- Conduct product demonstrations, presentations, and training sessions to showcase the features and benefits of our products.
- Offer expert advice on product selection, application, and optimization to ensure customer success.
Market Analysis and Intelligence:
- Monitor and analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback.
- Provide insights and recommendations to improve our products and services.
- Stay updated on industry developments, regulations, and emerging technologies.
Collaboration and Coordination:
- Collaborate with Team members to develop promotional materials and campaigns tailored to our market/product.
- Follow through with logistics and Supply Chain Team (Internal Sales) to ensure timely delivery of products to customers.
- Collaborate with Service Team for client visitation.
Managing Product Information:
- Manage and update product information from OEMs (Original Equipment Manufacturers).
- Organize and participate in training sessions provided by OEMs to stay current on product knowledge and technical advancements.
- Ensure accurate and up-to-date product information is communicated to customers.
Exhibitions and Publicity:
- Develop and execute publicity campaigns.
- Attend engineering solutions exhibitions, trade shows, and industry events to promote our products and services.
- Represent the company in networking events and industry conferences to increase brand visibility and generate leads.
Reporting and Documentation:
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and pipeline status.
- Prepare regular reports on sales performance, market trends, and customer feedback.
- Provide timely updates to management on sales progress and potential opportunities.
Travel:
- Willingness to travel extensively within Nigeria to meet with customers and attend industry events.
- Represent the company at trade shows, conferences, and networking events to promote our products and services
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in technical sales within the oil and gas industry.
- Strong understanding of engineering principles and the oil and gas market in Nigeria.
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and developing new business.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Customer-centric approach with a commitment to providing exceptional service.
