We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Sales / Marketing Manager

Location: Bodija, Ibadan - Oyo
Employment Type: Full-time
Work Schedule: Monday – Saturday (9:00 AM – 6:00 PM)

What We Are Looking For

  • We are looking for a leader, not just a manager someone who can take ownership of the business, drive measurable growth, motivate a sales team, identify opportunities, execute profitable initiatives, and consistently deliver results.
  • One who is well experienced, highly driven, and commercially minded who will lead and grow our tech and gadget retail store.
  • The successful candidate will be responsible for driving sales, increasing profitability, managing the sales team, implementing innovative marketing initiatives, and ensuring the store consistently achieves its revenue goals.
  • Our product range includes, but is not limited to, smartphones, laptops, tablets, kids' tablets, gaming devices, power banks, cameras, accessories, smart gadgets, and other consumer electronics.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive daily, weekly, and monthly sales performance to achieve and exceed revenue targets.
  • Lead, supervise, mentor, and manage all sales representatives and store personnel.
  • Develop and implement practical sales strategies to improve store profitability and market share.
  • Introduce innovative, creative, and profitable business initiatives that drive customer acquisition and revenue growth.
  • Plan and execute strategic marketing campaigns, promotions, product activations, and customer engagement activities.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities, corporate partnerships, bulk sales opportunities, and strategic collaborations.
  • Monitor inventory movement and ensure optimal stock turnover while minimizing losses.
  • Ensure excellent customer service standards and customer retention practices.
  • Meet specified monthly target
  • Conduct regular market research and competitor analysis to identify trends and opportunities.
  • Prepare and submit detailed weekly sales, operational, and performance reports to management.
  • Track key business metrics and recommend corrective actions where performance falls below expectations.
  • Ensure effective store operations, product display standards, and overall business efficiency.
  • Take ownership of store profitability and implement initiatives that positively impact business growth.
  • Carry out other duties and responsibilities as may be assigned by management.

  • Daily, weekly, and monthly sales achievement.
  • Revenue and profit growth.
  • New customer acquisition and retention.
  • Team productivity and performance.
  • Inventory turnover rate.
  • Success of promotional and marketing campaigns.
  • Quality and timeliness of weekly reports.
  • Growth in corporate and partnership sales.

Requirements

  • HND/Bsc Degree or equivalent professional experience in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, or a related field.
  • 3–5 years proven experience in retail sales management, business development, store management, or a similar leadership role.
  • Prior experience within the technology, gadgets, electronics, telecommunications, or related industry is highly preferred.
  • Demonstrated track record of increasing sales and improving business performance.
  • Strong leadership and team management abilities.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills.
  • Strong analytical and reporting skills with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
  • Creative thinker with the ability to develop innovative sales and marketing initiatives.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and reporting tools.

Salary
N150,000 - N250,000 / month.
