Description

• We are seeking a talented Celebrity News Host to become the voice of a growing YouTube channel focused on celebrity news, entertainment, and pop culture.
• This role is ideal for someone who naturally follows the entertainment industry and can deliver engaging commentary with confidence and personality.
• Rather than reading from a fully scripted piece, the host will work primarily from research notes and key talking points.

Key Responsibilities

• Present celebrity news and entertainment stories in an engaging, conversational format.
• Record high-quality voiceovers for 5–15 minute YouTube videos.
• Transform bullet points and research materials into compelling narratives.
• Stay informed about current celebrity events, social media trends, and pop culture developments.
• Collaborate with the production team to maintain a consistent publishing schedule.

Ideal Candidate
The successful candidate should possess:

• Strong verbal communication and storytelling skills.
• A genuine interest in celebrity news and entertainment media.
• The ability to speak naturally without relying on a word-for-word script.
• Excellent pacing, tone, and audience engagement.
• Reliability and the ability to deliver recordings within agreed deadlines.
• A professional recording setup with clear audio quality.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in podcasting, YouTube, radio, digital media, or content creation.
• Familiarity with internet culture and social media platforms.
• Previous experience creating commentary or opinion-based content.
