Job Title: Nanny

Location: Gwarinpa, Abuja (FCT)

Job Summary

• The Nanny is responsible for providing attentive and reliable care for the children while supporting their daily routines, learning, and overall well-being.
• This is an on-site / live-in role that requires a caring, patient, and trustworthy individual who enjoys working with children.
• The Nanny will help create a safe, positive, and nurturing environment while building a strong and supportive relationship with the children and family.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide attentive and nurturing care for children in the household.
• Ensure the safety, well-being, and development of the children at all times.
• Assist with feeding, bathing, dressing, and maintaining children's personal hygiene.
• Prepare nutritious meals and snacks for the children as required.
• Organize educational, recreational, and age-appropriate activities.
• Assist with school runs, homework supervision, and other child-related activities where necessary.
• Maintain children's bedrooms, play areas, clothing, and personal belongings in a clean and organized manner.
• Monitor children's health and promptly report any concerns to the Principal.
• Establish and maintain daily routines that support the children's development and well-being.
• Accompany children to appointments, events, and outings when required.
• Maintain confidentiality regardingpersonal affairs.
• Follow household rules, schedules, and instructions provided by the Principal.
• Be available to work flexible hours, including weekends or holidays when required.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Minimum of Senior Secondary School Certificate (SSCE) or equivalent.
• Minimum of 3years' experience as a nanny, childcare provider, or in a similar role.
• Basic knowledge of child development and childcare practices.
• Ability to provide a safe, caring, and supportive environment for children.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• High level of integrity, patience, and professionalism.
• Ability to handle emergencies calmly and responsibly.
• First Aid and CPR certification will be an added advantage.
