Job Title: Junior Accountant

Job Summary

• We are seeking a detail-oriented Junior Accountant to support the finance team in maintaining accurate financial records, processing transactions, and assisting in financial reporting.
• The ideal candidate will ensure proper documentation, compliance, and timely recording of all financial activities within the organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Record daily financial transactions and maintain accurate bookkeeping records
• Assist in preparation of financial statements and management reports
• Reconcile bank statements and resolve discrepancies
• Process invoices, receipts, and payment vouchers
• Support budgeting and expense tracking activities
• Maintain proper filing and documentation of financial records
• Assist with payroll preparation and statutory deductions
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies
• Use QuickBooks to record, track, and manage financial transactions
• Support internal and external audit processes
• Perform any other accounting duties as assigned

Requirements

• BSc/HND in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• 2–3 years of accounting experience (FMCG experience is an advantage)
• Proficiency in QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel
• Basic knowledge of accounting principles and standards
• Strong attention to detail and numerical accuracy
• Good organizational and time management skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Remuneration

• Salary: N200,000 / month.
• Accommodation: Available.
