Job Title: Mechanical Technician

Location: Ota, Ogun

Job Summary

• The Mechanical Technician will support the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of mechanical equipment and machinery within the production facility.
• The role is ideal for recent ND or HND graduates seeking to build a career in industrial maintenance and engineering operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in carrying out preventive and corrective maintenance on mechanical equipment.
• Support the inspection, repair, and servicing of pumps, compressors, conveyors, and other production machinery.
• Identify mechanical faults and report issues promptly.
• Assist in equipment installation, testing, and commissioning activities.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and documentation.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and operational procedures.
• Support senior technicians during breakdown maintenance and troubleshooting activities.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance equipment reliability and efficiency.

Requirements

• ND or HND in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
• Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
• Basic understanding of mechanical systems and industrial equipment.
• Strong willingness to learn and develop technical skills.
• Good problem-solving and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Knowledge of maintenance tools and safety procedures will be an added advantage.
