Job Title: IT / Full-Stack Developer

Job Summary

• We are looking for a versatile IT / Full-Stack Developer to join our IT team. In this role, you will split your time between developing modern web applications and supporting our internal office IT infrastructure. You will work directly on our core platforms while ensuring daily technical operations run smoothly.

Key Responsibilities
Software Engineering & Development:

• Build and maintain responsive frontend interfaces using Next.js, React, and Tailwind CSS.
• Develop, optimize, and connect secure backend APIs using Laravel and manage relational databases using MySQL.
• Integrate third-party RESTful APIs, manage webhooks, and implement data caching strategies to ensure fast page loads.
• Write maintainable code using modern version control practices via Git and GitHub.

IT Support & Infrastructure:

• Manage corporate IT operations, including setting up office Wi-Fi routers, provisioning team emails, and managing access to internal company portals.
• Provide hardware and software troubleshooting for staff laptops, printers, and core operating systems.
• Monitor system performance, maintain regular database backups, and troubleshoot basic web server configurations (including WordPress platform updates or license issues).

Requirements
Required Technical Skills:

• Frontend Stack: JavaScript, React.js, Next.js (App Router experience is a plus), and Tailwind CSS / UI libraries (like Shadcn UI).
• Backend Stack: PHP (Laravel framework preferred) and core RESTful API development.
• Databases: Experience writing and optimizing SQL queries using MySQL.
• Tools & Infrastructure: Git/GitHub, Postman, basic networking knowledge, and standard cloud hosting platforms.

Soft Skills & Mindset:

• Logical Troubleshooting: A clear, step-by-step approach to identifying bugs in code or failures in network hardware.
• Prioritization: Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment and identify high-priority issues quickly.
• Adaptability: Comfortable transitioning from building an engineering feature to solving an office IT infrastructure issue.
• Clear Communication: Able to explain technical solutions plainly to non-technical team members and management.

Salary
N200,000 - N300,000 / month.
