Responsibilities
- Teach Technical Drawing concepts in line with the approved curriculum.
- Develop and deliver engaging lessons covering geometric construction, orthographic projection, isometric drawing, and engineering graphics.
- Prepare lesson plans that balance theoretical knowledge with practical drawing exercises.
- Assess students' progress and provide constructive feedback to improve their technical and spatial reasoning skills.
- Utilize drawing instruments, computer-aided design (CAD) tools where applicable, and other instructional resources effectively.
- Prepare students for WAEC examinations and internal assessments.
- Maintain accurate records of student performance and support learners in achieving academic excellence.
Requirements
- Degree in Technical Education, Engineering, Architecture, Industrial Design, or a related discipline.
- Relevant teaching certification may be required.
- Strong knowledge of Technical Drawing principles and drafting techniques.
- Proficiency in the use of technical drawing instruments and CAD software is an added advantage.
- Good classroom management, communication, and organizational skills.
- Experience preparing students for WAEC and other external examinations is preferred.
- TRCN certification is an added advantage.
