Job Title: Analyst - Data Analytics, Network

Reports To: Manager - Network Business Performance and Quality Assurance
Division: Network
Description
- Assist the CTO with the identification, conceptualization and championing of activities, projects and or assignments aimed at optimizing performance within Network division.
- Develop machine learning models for network monitoring
- Perform predictive analytics (fault detection, congestion forecasting)
- Promoting a data-driven culture within Network Group
- Contribute to MTN’s Autonomous Network roadmap
- Develop AI use cases including:

- Predictive fault detection
- Traffic forecasting
- Network anomaly detection
- Root Cause Analysis (AI-assisted)
- Build automated dashboards and alerting systems
- Integrate AI into NOC and performance workflows
- Maintain data models and pipelines (structured/unstructured data).
Requirements
Education:
- First degree in any related discipline
- Possession of an MBA or Project Management certification will be an advantage
- Fluent in English.
Experience:
3-7 years’ experience which includes
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in an area of specialization; with experience in supervising others
- 3+ years in data analytics or machine learning
- Telecom network experience (RAN/Core/Transport)
- Experience in:
- Python / SQL / Spark / Hadoop
- ML frameworks (TensorFlow, Scikit-learn, PyTorch)
- Exposure to OSS/BSS systems and telecom analytics platforms.
